This page is a self-accountability framework published at the candidate stage. The responsible units and deadlines listed are plans for after taking office; actual delivery remains subject to budget procedures and applicable law.

These six principles will govern the Civic Dashboard and its published datasets after taking office.

What this website itself does
Beyond municipal data, the campaign website has its own duties on personal data, accessibility and older users.
Personal data on this site
Forms collect the minimum necessary fields and carry a privacy policy and a consent checkbox (Personal Data Protection Act). Submissions without consent are rejected.
Accessibility
Built to WCAG 2.1 AA: adjustable text size, maintained contrast, full keyboard operation, and alternative text for images.
Older users
Text defaults to a larger size, key information never relies on charts alone, and phone and paper channels are documented.
Current status
What is already in place
Everything listed here exists today and can be checked by any visitor.
- Text size control is live: standard / large / extra-large in the header, scaling the whole site in rem units so it stacks with browser zoom.
- Browser zoom is not blocked; users can zoom up to 5×.
- Tables scroll horizontally, and the scroll region is keyboard operable with an accessible name.
- Colour pairings follow WCAG 2.1 AA contrast; status is always shown with a text label, never colour alone.
- External links open in a new tab with rel="noopener noreferrer" and say so in the accessible name.
- Forms enforce a server-side field whitelist and allow at most five submissions per IP address per form per hour. Human verification is not enabled yet; notice will be given in the privacy policy when it is.
- Your text-size preference is stored only in your browser and is never sent to a server.
What is not done yet
This site has not yet had an external accessibility audit, and has not been tested with screen-reader or keyboard-only users. Until then we will not claim the site “passes WCAG 2.1 AA”; we only claim it is built to that standard.

Digital equity is not a slogan: people who do not use websites should have equally effective channels.

Civic participation must exclude no one. Beyond online channels, this office maintains phone, paper and in-person channels, and the website is built to accessibility standards.
